ZET’S ~ 6445 Airport Rd ~ (289) 800-2038

May 1st.  Our eldest’s birthday.  She wanted burgers.  Onion rings.  No debate.  So we went to Zet’s.

You don’t come here for nuance.  You come here because someone’s been standing over that grill for decades and still doesn’t miss.

The burger lands heavy.  Juice running, cheese melting to the edge, pickles stacked like they matter.

Soft bun doing its job, barely holding the whole thing together.

It’s not engineered.  It’s built.  Architecturally sound.

Onion rings?  Crispy, salty, gone too fast.  The kind you eat without talking.

There’s a souvlaki plate on the table too… because Zet’s isn’t just a burger joint.  Don’t ya know?

Char on the meat.  Lemon soaking into the potatoes.  Tzatziki doing its cooling thing.  A proper Greek salad… and yeah, pickles on the side (of course).

Old-school Toronto Greek diner energy, still intact.  As good as anything on the Danforth… just happens to be parked by the airport.  The only reason I’d show-up way too early for my flight;)

No reinvention here.  No “elevated” anything.  Just a place that figured it out a long time ago and stuck with it.

Molly took one bite, nodded, and that was it.  Birthday handled!
